Who we are
This website is operated by Matt French Consulting Ltd, trading as Decision | Skill. Our registered address is available on request. You can contact us at matt@decisionskill.co.uk.
What data we collect and why
This website does not use cookies, analytics, tracking scripts, or advertising technology. We do not collect any personal data simply by you visiting the site.
If you purchase the book, the transaction is handled entirely by Gumroad (PDF) or IngramSpark (hardback). We do not receive or store your payment details. Gumroad and IngramSpark are independent data controllers — their privacy policies apply to your purchase transaction.
If you contact us by email, we will receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list or share your details with third parties.
Email communications
We do not send unsolicited emails. If you have contacted us and we correspond by email, you can ask us to stop at any time by replying to say so.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to request access to any personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to or restrict how we use it. As we hold very little data (typically only email correspondence if you've contacted us), requests are usually straightforward.
To exercise any of these rights, email matt@decisionskill.co.uk. We'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Third-party services
- Gumroad — processes PDF purchases. See Gumroad's Privacy Policy.
- IngramSpark — processes hardback orders. See IngramSpark's privacy policy on their website.
- Netlify — hosts this website. Netlify may log standard server-side request data (IP address, browser type) as part of normal web server operation. See Netlify's Privacy Policy.
Changes to this policy
We'll update the date at the top of this page if anything changes. We won't make changes that reduce your rights without clear notice.
Accessibility Statement
Matt French Consulting Ltd is committed to making decisionskill.co.uk accessible to as many people as possible. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What we've done
- All pages use semantic HTML with appropriate heading structure
- Colour contrast ratios meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA requirements in both light and dark modes
- The site is navigable by keyboard throughout
- Focus states are visible on all interactive elements
- Images include descriptive alt text
- Animations respect the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting - Light and dark mode are available, with system preference respected automatically
- Text can be resized to 200% without loss of content or function
Known limitations
The PDF download (the book itself) has not been assessed for full PDF accessibility. If you require an accessible version of the book, please contact us and we will do what we can to help.

Purchases
PDF purchases are handled by Gumroad. Hardback purchases are fulfilled by IngramSpark. Refund and return policies for each are governed by those platforms respectively. We will always try to do the right thing if something goes wrong — contact us and we'll sort it out.
Limitation of liability
The content on this site is provided for general information. While we take care to ensure accuracy, we make no warranties about completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on material on this site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
